# Google Sheets

> Import a sheet by its link, and export any list of leads to a new Google Sheet.

## Import a sheet

A sheet shared with **Anyone with the link** imports without connecting
anything.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Share the sheet">
    In Google Sheets, click **Share** and set General access to **Anyone with
    the link** (Viewer is enough).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste the link">
    In ManyPI, open **Leads → Import**, choose **From a Google Sheets link**,
    and paste the sheet's address.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the columns">
    ManyPI matches the columns the way it does for a CSV. Columns it does not
    recognize are kept as custom variables you can use in emails.
  </Step>
</Steps>

To import a **private** sheet, connect Google first: open **Integrations**,
click **Google Sheets**, then **Connect**.

<Note>
  Google sign-in for Sheets is rolling out while Google reviews ManyPI's
  access. Sheets shared by link import today.
</Note>

## Export leads

In **Leads**, filter or tick the leads you want, open **Export**, choose
**Google Sheets**, and click **Send to Sheets**. ManyPI creates a new sheet in
your Google Drive and opens it. Exporting needs the Google connection.
