What comes over

  • Every saved contact. Apollo’s wider database is not copied, only the people you saved.
  • Sequences as paused drafts, when the key is a master key
  • Contacts who unsubscribed, onto your do-not-contact list

Get your API key

1

Open Settings, then Integrations

Or go straight to Apollo’s API settings.
2

Open API keys

Next to API, click Connect, then API keys.
3

Create a master key

Create a new key, switch on Set as master key, and copy it.
Without Set as master key, Apollo does not let ManyPI read your sequences. Contacts still come over.

Run the import

1

Open the wizard

In ManyPI, open Integrations in the sidebar, click Switch from another tool, and pick Apollo.
2

Paste your key

ManyPI checks it and scans the account. Nothing is imported yet: you see how many leads, campaigns and do-not-contact entries it found.
3

Choose what to bring

Everything starts ticked. Untick Recreate the campaigns, Continue where they left off or Bring the do-not-contact list to leave any of them behind.
4

Import

The import runs on ManyPI’s servers. Close the window whenever you like; Integrations shows its progress until it is done.

After the import

  • Campaigns arrive as drafts. Nothing sends until you connect an inbox and launch. See Inboxes and warmup.
  • With Continue where they left off, leads Apollo had not emailed yet are queued in their new campaign, so the sequence picks up when you launch.
  • A lead with the same email as one you already have is merged, not duplicated. Imported leads count toward your plan’s lead limit.
  • Custom variables become lead fields with the same names, so the copied emails keep their personalization.
  • Your key is stored encrypted while the import runs and erased when it ends.
