Copy your API key

In Freshdesk, click your profile picture, then Profile settings. Under Your API Key on the right, click View API Key and copy it.

Fill in the connection

Open Integrations in ManyPI, click Freshdesk, and enter:
  • Helpdesk address: acme if your help desk is acme.freshdesk.com
  • API key: the key you copied

Import contacts

Open the Freshdesk connection under Integrations and click Import contacts. Choose what they are:
  • Existing customers go on your do-not-contact list. This is the usual choice for a support tool: the people in it already pay you, and cold email is the fastest way to annoy them.
  • Prospects to reach out to become leads you can add to campaigns.
Run it again whenever you want to pick up new contacts. Addresses already on the list are skipped.
